Glasgow - Tuesday Night Post Work Saunter

No drop social ride before the bad weather resumes mid week.

Out of Glasgow via the Southside and via Castlemilk. This is little "climby", okay it's all up hill but there's a cycle path.

In to Carmunnock where we'll do a few loops around the lanes, number of which will be wholly dependant on time and eagerness of the group.

Once we've done enough of those to fill our hearts, Strava stories and Instagram pages we'll head back to Merchant City via the Carmunnock bypass. Road shouldn't be too busy but we'll ride as a group so anyone unfamiliar will feel safe, I assure you.

Possibility of drinks and chat at bar afterwards depending on whether folk have any interest and/or time.

Bring your own inner tubes, mini pump, tubeless plugs, bike tool, snacks, chat. Be nice to people on the ride. Obey the highway code and don't put yourself or anyone else in a dangerous situation. Hopefully enjoy your night. Don't be a dick. That's all we ask

People of Glasgow, there's still time to join our jaunt to Edinburgh for Collabfest beers, leaving Merchant City at 10am,

Route is largely the old Pedal for Scotland route, with a few improvements over some of our tried and tested local roads. We will pass through the country roads of North Lanarkshire after leaving Glasgow as we head towards Linlithgow and meet up with the ride leaving from BrewDog Stirling (MORE COLLABORATIONS 🎉).

From Linlithgow it's on to the Capital 🏰 where we will end the ride at Lothian Road. There is no organised ride back so it is up to individuals if they wish to stay over, get the train back or ride back themselves. Ride leaders will be staying in the pub for burgers and beer and we welcome you all to join us 🍔 x 🍻 = 😁

Ride will be social ride, going at the pace of the slowest rider. All welcome regardless of ability.

- The boring bit -

We ask you bring any spare inner tubes, bike tools, etc you may need, lights in case of poor visibility and ideally mudguards if wet to make it a more pleasant ride for those around you.

We do prefer riders to wear a helmet though appreciate there is no legal requirement to do so. As this is a meet up ride first aid training amongst the group may vary and cannot be guaranteed.
