Jimmy Rokko might be one of the busiest musicians in Greece at the moment. A musical journeyman of the metal scene since 2008, he has played guitar on numerous bands and he is currently performing with Scar Of The Sun. He is also quite notorious for working with Septic Flesh as he helped them record videos of their shows, developing a friendship with them, and he constantly covers his favorite songs of the band on social media.We had the opportunity to have a chat with Jimmy, discussing his career, his currents projects, the state of the metal scene in Greece, and even some milestones of his career, such as performing with Machine Head’s Robb Flynn. They are the most recognizable element of the songs and can give a group a strong musical identity. For example, someone like Lemmy gave Motorhead a strong identity because of his vocal style. David T. Chastain is one of American metal’s most underrated 80s guitar heroes. Mostly known for his work on his band Chastain, David has become a master of his craft, oftentimes delivering masterful riffs, solos, and overall pushing what metal could be in the underground scene of the United States.His ability has given him a lot of praise throughout the years and has allowed him to craft a lot of great albums, with one being “Ruler of the Wasteland”, a record we discussed with him and the rest of the band a few years ago.
