What if it Just Started Raining?
"It's a question the whole world should be asking: 'What if it Just Started Raining?' Humanity will always struggle against the evils of racism, prejudice, inequality and hatred. I just want to be on the front lines in the fight against evil."
There is magic in the streets…
Here.
There.
Sometimes in plain sight.
Sometimes you just gotta’ look for it.
Mostly found in the human spirit.
Be the magic along someone else’s journey today.
Think for yourself.

CORE THEME #5:
BUILDING AN EMPIRE OF HOPE
"From its home in Lusaka, Zambia, the Kambimbi International Peacekeeping & Training Center (KIPTC) stands as the first node in a global network — an Empire of Hope that uses compassion, information technology, and innovation to create a future where peace is taught, practiced, and lived."

CORE THEME #4:
THE MATH OF HOPE
"Every investment in peace saves exponentially more than it costs. The Kambimbi Academy’s model demonstrates that for the cost of prevention is far less than the cost of war and that we can educate hundreds of thousands of children not to hate — turning conflict budgets into hope budgets and transforming loss into learning."

Saturday, 9th November...
Same 9th, 1793...
The first issue of The American Minerva (founded by Noah Webster--the dictionary dude) was published in New York City.
Changed to the New-York Daily Advertiser (prescient--is it news or "just enough" to create an emotional reaction that sells advertising and generates profit? No different today) in 1797...eventually emerging as The Globe and the New York Sun in the early 20th century.
The New York Times would not emerge until 18th September, 1851.

We needed the town crier (believed to originate in Britain vicinity the year 1066 when news of William of Normandy’s invasion was known. Men employed to remind everybody of Harold’s authority passed information from town to town. These individuals were specifically employed to call out the King’s proclamation.)

Same as we need newspapers and all the filtered and unfiltered sources of information today.
Problem is they all purport to sell us the truth.
Problem is who tells the truth and nothing but the truth?
What was the town criers motivation (which was really the motive of the king or employer who fed them a narrative to pass along to "we the people"?)?
What is the newspaper's motivation? Any source of information?
Truth is hard work.
Narrative drives everything...no matter from whence it comes...
..for better...
..or for worse.
What drives how we think--drives how we think...and how we think drives action which generates history (big H or little h doesn't matter).
Think for yourself.
Think!!
