Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia — October 1, 2025 — The Reroute Pipelines in Ras Tanura Area (QRT Project/CPP) team, in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Health, organized an on-site influenza vaccination campaign for employees at the project camp and construction site.
The initiative strengthened health protection, reduced the risk of influenza transmission, and reflected the project’s commitment to employee well-being and operational safety.
“Employee health and safety are at the heart of our operations,” said Mr. Ma Tao, Project Manager of QRT Project. “Through proactive cooperation with the Ministry of Health, we ensure our teams stay protected and our work proceeds safely and efficiently.”

China National Safety Month 2025: Strengthening Our Commitment to Safety in Saudi Arabia-Everyone Prioritizes Safety, Everyone Is Prepared for Emergencies — Identify Potential Hazards Around You
In alignment with China’s National Safety Month, our QRT Project team (Reroute Pipelines in Ras Tanura Area) in Saudi Arabia has actively organized a series of impactful initiatives aimed at enhancing safety awareness, improving emergency preparedness, and promoting workplace health and well-being — and our efforts are ongoing.
We are proud of our team’s dedication and proactive participation. Key activities delivered to date include:
May 28: Campaign launch with an Open Safety Meeting
June 3: Safety Awareness Quiz to reinforce knowledge
June 14: CPR & AED Training combined with a Safety Exchange Meeting
June 15: Full-scale Medical Emergency Drill
June 16: Consultation Day and On-site Wellness Check-up
These initiatives have significantly strengthened our team’s understanding of emergency response procedures, reinforced safe work practices, and contributed to building a strong, proactive HSE culture across the project.

On April 16, to mark the 55th anniversary of the "83 Project" campaign, CPP in the Middle East meticulously organized a unique relay run event.
Nearly 100 employees participated across three locations — Abu Dhabi, BAB and Bu Hasa,UAE and Langfang,China.
The 55-kilometer relay was a special tribute to the pioneers of pipeline construction, aiming to carry forward the spirit of the "83 Project" and to unite and inspire collective strength for future endeavors.

On March 22, 2025, CPP held the Best Performing Staff Award Ceremony at the CPP QRT Project Training Hall to recognize employees for their dedication to safety. The event was attended by Project Manager Mr. Ma Tao, Deputy Project Manager Mr. Tang, E&I Manager Mr. Azaruddin, Construction Managers Mr. Qin and Mr. Waqas, along with Safety Officers, WPRs, and Site Supervisors.
Project Manager Mr. Ma Tao emphasized that safety is always the top priority* and congratulated all award winners. He highlighted Mr. Azaruddin and Mr. Waqas* for being selected as CPP Middle East Outstanding Employees, encouraging others to follow their example. He also urged employees to share their ideas, as collective efforts benefit the company *morally, legally, and economically.
Deputy Project Manager Mr. Tang reinforced the importance of a *strong safety culture, built on commitment, teamwork, and responsibility. He reminded everyone that safety is not just about following rules but about proactively preventing incidents.
This initiative reflects CPP’s commitment to safety excellence and ensures that employees’ efforts do not go unnoticed. Recognizing top performers boosts morale and strengthens the company’s safety culture, benefiting both employees and the organization.

Qatif, November 26, 2024 – China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co. Ltd. (CPP) conducted a successful environmental emergency drill at the Qatif Laydown Yard under the Ras Tanura Area Project. Simulating a chemical spill during the transfer of thinner cans, the drill tested readiness in handling emergencies. Prompt action was taken as the chemical store alarm was activated, and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) mobilized swiftly to contain and clean up the spill, preventing environmental impact. The exercise highlighted effective teamwork, emergency communication, and adherence to protocols. CPP Management commended participants with certificates and gifts, emphasizing the company’s commitment to safety and preparedness. CPP remains dedicated to meeting Saudi Aramco and global safety standards.

On October 5th, 2024, the Rumaila Project Department of the CPP Middle East held a height rescue training for the first time, focusing on the on-site application of Gotcha, a new-style rescue equipment for height operations. Mr. KEVIN, a senior expert in height operations from the owner ROO, came to the PWT site and had an on-site teaching.
During the training, Mr. KEVIN elaborated on the operation procedures of height rescue in details, including how to respond quickly in complex height environments and formulate rescue strategies, and also gave a meticulous explanation of the usage specifications of rescue tools. After the theoretical part, he also guided the professional rescue teams of the Rumaila Project Department to carry out practical training.
The Rumaila project has deeply involved in pipeline projects for many years, and this training is one of the measures for talent reserve to further explore the new market in the field of oil and gas construction.
The Rumaila Project personnel are from multiple countries. This training enables the international safety management team to receive safety education, improves the overall emergency rescue capacity for height operations, and also creates the opportunities for cooperation and communication among the personnel from multiple countries, which will help to protect the personnel safety and promote the smooth progress of the project.

Recently, the Saudi QRT (REROUTE PIPELINES IN RAS TANURA AREA) Project successfully conducted a specialized training on "Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) Emergency Response." The training aimed to further enhance employees' ability to manage unexpected hazardous gas leaks and ensure the safety of production and operational environments. Organized by the HSSE Department, the session saw participation from key personnel across construction, equipment, and fire safety teams.
