This project was all about redefining “seaside living.” We traded the traditional nautical clichés for a Modern Coastal aesthetic—focusing on a palette of misty blues, sandy wood tones, and light-reflecting textures.
The goal? A sanctuary that feels as restorative as a morning at the shore, but with a polished, sophisticated edge.
🐚 The Designer’s Breakdown:
• The Palette: We used a serene shade of blue on the walls to mimic the horizon, creating an airy backdrop that lets the gold hardware truly shine.
• The “Water” Element: That iridescent mosaic feature wall adds a subtle, wave-like shimmer that catches the light beautifully throughout the day.
• The Reader’s Retreat: My favorite personal touch? The clients specifically requested integrated shelving for their book collection right next to the bath. There’s nothing more “coastal slow-living” than a long soak with a favorite novel.
• Modern Geometry: Clean-lined vessel sinks and arched mirrors bring a contemporary structure to the more traditional white wainscoting.
• Organic Warmth: The light oak cabinetry and woven Roman shades ground the space, adding that essential “toes-in-the-sand” warmth.
It’s all about the balance between sleek, high-end finishes and a relaxed, lived-in feel.

Bringing the Tropics Home: A Masterclass in Modern Luxury 🌴✨
There’s something incredibly soulful about a room that tells a story. For this master suite, we wanted to bridge the gap between high-end sophistication and a relaxed, tropical getaway. The result? A sanctuary that feels like a boutique hotel in the heart of a lush estate.
The Design Breakdown:
• The Statement Wall: We anchored the room with a monochrome tropical mural. By stripping away the color, the palm silhouettes become architectural and timeless, rather than just “beachy.”
• The Golden Glow: That velvet headboard isn’t just a bed; it’s the sun. The mustard/ochre tone adds an instant warmth that plays beautifully against the cool grays and blacks of the room.
• Mixed Textures: From the deep-grained chevron oak floors to the soft boucle of the accent chair and the heavy, layered drapery, texture is what makes this neutral palette feel expensive.
• Hardware as Jewelry: Those gold pendant lights and the glass-ribbed chandelier act as the finishing touches—bringing a hint of mid-century glamour to the organic vibes.
This space is proof that you don’t need bright colors to make a bold statement. It’s all about the balance of scale, texture, and light.
