A note I sent to our newsletter today…
These last months have asked a lot of us. Whether you traveled or stayed, whether you wanted to be where you were or somewhere else entirely, something shifted. The pace was different. The shape of your day was different.
And now we’re moving back into the full version of life. Schools open, calendars filling up, the rhythm picking up speed.
If you’re back and feeling like you should be further along by now, you’re not behind. If you’re still away and dreading the return, that makes sense too. If you’re here and it still feels off, that’s real.
Transitions don’t move in straight lines, especially when the ground underneath has been shifting for a while.
We’re here if you need us.

I used to be really fit. Then life happened (the kind that piles up quietly until you realize you’ve put yourself last for longer than you’d like to admit).
Getting back is harder than starting was. But at this point in my life, with everything I’m holding, physical health isn’t a luxury. It’s what makes everything else possible. I also have a daughter watching how I take care of myself, and that matters more than any other reason.
The first step is always the hardest. Today mine was a stair climber. Not glamorous, but it counts.
